Exciting new product alert..!! | Family Photographer, Leicester

If you’ve had a shoot with me you will know the feeling. It’s the feeling you get when one particular photograph captures your child perfectly. During the viewing there’s usually a moment someone gasps and says “we’re having that one!”.

It’s so hard to describe the emotion, it’s a mixture of pride (we made her!), of sadness (wow…look at our little girl all grown up) and so much love you could actually burst. I know, because that is how I felt when I saw this photograph of Ellie.

When we were on holiday in the summer I spotted this amazing moss covered rock in the grounds of the house we’d rented. I instantly knew that it would be the perfect spot for a portrait of my littlest, Ellie. When I looked at the back of the camera it looked pretty special and I just couldn't wait to get it home.

So, imagine my delight when I stumbled across the perfect frame.

I am always on the look out for gorgeous new products that will complement my photography style beautifully. There is a supplier in the photography world that everyone is raving about so I thought it would be foolish not to check them out. They passed the print test (gorgeous colours and sharpness) so I decided to take the plunge and order a frame. I tested the service side of things (with my millions of questions) and they passed that with flying colours too! Well, it’s arrived and I have to say I am totally blown away!!

Every time the doorbell rang I rushed to open it in the hope it would be my much anticipated delivery… several disappointing door openings later (all of the local courriers know that I work from home and I have become the delivery hub for my street) and I was handed a large box that could only be one thing. When I opened the box it felt like Christmas morning - total excitement mixed with a few nerves (…please don’t be disappointing).

My first observation was the texture, it’s a lovely chunky frame with a slightly raised effect that absolutely shouts quality. The warm colour complements my photography style perfectly and the double black mount (very brave for me!) makes the photograph “pop” - if you know what I mean?

This frame is stunning and I know it’s going to be extremely popular. The other fantastic thing is that it’s timelessness will work with most decors and for a variety of tastes - my living room is quite dark and I have walnut furniture…it looks beautiful. The frame also looks amazing in the white and (sometimes!) minimalist space I call my office.

How does it make me feel?

I have hung it in view of my chair (everyone has one of those, right? you know, when you buy a new sofa and before you know it you have laid claim to a specific spot that will be yours for eternity) as I was a little bit proud of it and thought I should be the one who gets to enjoy it.

Well, before I knew it, a whole episode of Big Little Lies had passed me by (if you’ve seen it, isn’t Nicole Kidman stunning? she’s 52 you know!! and if you haven’t seen it, you should) and I realised I had spent the past 40 minutes staring at my beautiful new piece of wall art. It totally gave me the warm and fuzzies. It’s that feeling of having something gorgeous and new for your home that you also have a massive emotional attachment to. I think I might actually be in love with it… Seriously.

The overall size is approximately 25 inches x 21 inches so it will perfectly in an alcove or above an armchair - I am happy to show you my sample if you want to see and hold it. Of course, larger sizes are available if you’re thinking for above the bed, sofa or mantelpiece.

These frames are available immediately for £295 to both new and existing clients - if you want happy tears from the lady of the house on Christmas morning, this (or diamonds) will do it. I promise. I bet you every single one of my past clients can think of a photograph from their shoot that will look perfect in this frame. If you are struggling to choose, I am happy to help with this. Oh, and they come ready to hang - what’s not to love?

Orders for Christmas delivery are being taken for the remainder of November. There is also still time to have your photo shoot and receive your photographs in time for Christmas, but you need to get a wiggle on. Photographs are the perfect gift for grandparents - who doesn’t love photos of their favourite little ones?!

You can drop me a message here with any questions that you might have. Julie.xx
