Kids and Family Portrait Photographer based in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
Do you keep meaning to get your Children's and Family Portraits taken but never get round to it?
Do you love seeing the wonderful colours and changes in season that this country provides?
Are your children happier and more carefree when they are outdoors?
I'm Julie, based in Mountsorrel, Loughborough I have become very familiar with Leicestershire, and just love to work with families who like me, have fallen in love with this wonderful area.
I want you to leave me having had an incredible experience and with something beautiful that you can hang on your living room wall to treasure for many years to come.
A stunning portrait that will become a piece of artwork to hang in your home. I might use the landscape to create an impressive backdrop for a group portrait or it may be an image of your child, capturing the sparkle in their eye...
During the session I will encourage you to have fun and play with each other to provide a selection of candid images. These will be unique to you, because the relationships within families are often so incredibly special and so very different.
I will also aim to capture some traditional family portraits that will keep the grandparents happy - providing the perfect gift for Christmas and birthdays!
Why it's important to choose a location that you love
Your family photo shoot will take place outdoors, at a location of your choosing. By selecting a place that is familiar, your family will be able to relax into the session much more quickly. The added bonus of this is that your portraits will be taken against a backdrop to which you have an emotional tie, making them all that more special.
The location may be a local beauty spot, somewhere that you loved as a child, or even your own back garden.
And if you really can't think of anywhere, don't worry, I happen to know Charnwood like the back of my hand!
A session that is fun and that becomes a special memory in itself.
Sessions take place between Tuesday and Saturday (inclusive). When you contact me to book your family portraits, I will send you a welcome email and we will discuss your preferred location of your shoot.
Prior to your session I will send you a guide of what to wear (this is the most stressful part - but don't worry, I've made it nice and easy).
The session lasts for 1-2 hours, providing plenty of time for snacks, breaks and outfit changes (the little ones will probably get dirty!). I will then select the best images from your session (a minimum of 25) and invite you to view them when you will be able to select your favourites and decide how you would best like to display them.
My main priority is for you to feel that you have had a fantastic experience and to leave with a family heirloom that will have your friends ooh-ing and aah-ing for years.
“Amazing! I was so impressed with the whole experience of having Julie as our family photographer...”
