When several local businesses come together it's magical...

During the first lockdown I felt incredibly lonely in my business and decided to join a networking group. I had been a guest at this particular group back in 2015 having graduated from college just weeks before. Despite feeling welcome and everybody being thoroughly lovely to me, I suffered from such immense imposter syndrome I never went again. Fast forward to 2020, I knew that for my business to survive Covid I needed to diversify and launched my Brand Photography Service.

Where better to start growing my connections than in a networking group that was full of like-minded women? So I joined LoveBiz and haven’t looked back!

Initially, the meetings took place online. At one such meeting, I was thrown into a breakout room with Ruth Malloy who just so happened to live around the corner from me (we hadn’t met). We exchanged messages a couple of times and before I knew it Ruth had become my lockdown exercise buddy - she walked, I trotted to keep up.

Despite having completely different businesses we seemed to be facing similar challenges and these walks were a great opportunity to brainstorm and chat through ideas and solutions. A solid friendship was made.

As part of Ruth’s business growth she decided to relaunch her website and I was thrilled when she asked me to provide the photography for it.

Social media post shared by Ruth Malloy Interiors declaring her excitement about working with me!

Ruth is a very talented interior designer who has been in the industry for a number of years. The homes she has created are just stunning and her clients RAVE about her. Not only do they look beautiful; the craftsmanship and attention to detail is clear to see. Ruth delivers quality, period.

Look at the pattern match!

I was like a kid in a sweetshop whilst photographing them and totally overstayed my welcome!

Once the photographs were produced, our super networking community came back into play - there are loads of businesses represented within the group so Ruth was spoilt for choice when it came to her re-brand. The wonderful Clare McCabe of Purplestar created the website and graphics and Wordsmith Kirsty France created the fabulous words to accompany the design and photography. What a TEAM!

And Ruth’s website was born. Please do have a look - her work is beautiful.
