During the summer I was contacted by Amelia who lives in Brazil where she runs the cutest boutique hotel (it’s joined my bucket list!). Her sister was studying at Loughborough university and was turning 21. The family wanted a family portrait session to mark the occasion with friends and family travelling from Paris, Brazil and Berkshire. They’d booked The Priesthouse’s Gatehouse in Castle Donington. The location was amazing - the gatehouse had a beautiful covered terrace where the light was just so pretty! A short walk brought us to the grounds of Donington Hall which I didn’t even know existed… there was cherry blossom, imposing architecture and a family that was just so happy in each other’s company it made for a really relaxed session with lots of chatter and laughter!
The ladies had their hair styled by Marie and makeup by Kaye. I’m sure you will agree that both girls made the already beautiful ladies even more so.
I mustn’t forget Leo - Leo was the little French Bulldog - ridiculously cute.
It was such a fun way to spend a Wednesday afternoon!
